Thanks Mad lol.
The EB has been parked since I got my XR8 ute. Have a cammed EB in the works currently, didn't have the heart to pull the tickford out. It's such a nice drive so the cammed donk is going into a new body Also working on this for my ute https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do0SqVFgnjY Should have a 10.1 inch screen fitted to the ICC by the end of this week, biggest holdup is designing the UI layout.

So! it's been ages but finally had some time to start working on my EB again.
Fair bit of progress this week, things are coming along nicely. Pulled my current engine and gearbox then remove the dash and associated components. Noticed one of the Gearbox to Bellhousing bolts had come out, oops! Hope there was no one behind me when it came out Engine bay with loom Engine loom gone AU series 2 loom ready to go in Passenger side loom in, fits nicely. Next task is to fit the drivers side engine loom. Gotta figure out what i'm going to do with the difference in grommets. Then fit the fuse box and wheel arch loom, gonna be fuuunnn :S

Pretty sure this is the factory location that part of the fuse box bolts to. Not exactly this location but seems close enough, hopefully with battery relocation to the boot there will be plenty of room.

Looks like the grommets are molded around the loom.
Think i'm just gonna cut and shut the existing grommet around the new loom, will pack it if i need to and glue it closed. Problem is the grommet is inserted on the firewall side and the loom is inserted from the cabin side. If i don't cut and shut i'll need to de-pin the engine side of the loom.

Well i got good news and bad news!
The good news is there's miles of room above the plastic wheel well guards in the EB! As long as I can get the fuse box mounted, routing the loom to the cabin should be straight forward. The bad news is the inner wheel well of my EB was definitely home for something and now, it's probably in my hair hahaha
