Well, seeing as though my NC was written off, I had to go on the hunt for a new car. I ended up buying a 1993 EB XR8, 213xxx k's, mint interior, sunroof, Ported E7's, still with a HO intake, Pacemakers, 3' exhaust, Superlows and a kit. It's been sitting around unused for 4 years, but some fresh fuel, oils and filters and she started first turn of the key. I've only got a couple of pics so far, but here she is.

Plans are just to tidy her up, fit an ED XR front, my Koni's and springs from the Fairlane, my 18x8.5's and 18x10's, my stereo, and then fiddle with the 5L. Plans are a set of Alloy heads, XE282HR, Haltech and an Explorer intake. A TKO500 is on the cards aswell, because I don't think the T5 will enjoy the beating it's going to get.

It will take a while, first step is getting the niggly problems sorted, then its save the cash to get things underway. It's surprisingly quick for an E7 headed, HO intake windsor. I need to source a few bodykit pieces, but it should be all guns blazing soon.

Well being a t5 and an eb with ported e7's it should feel abit toey but once you put alloy heads on it and let her breathe the car wont know itself.

Isnt brett running and xe282hr cam in his 351, that should be pretty stout for a 302.

It's currently got a BTR in it, which is actually heading into a Dart blocked 347 stroker ED Turbo.

Why go aftermarket ECU. The factory stuff is far better and is now tuneable. Having gone down that route with my car, the greatest improvment to the overall pacxkage was returning to stock ECU with a tune.

I have the Haltech laying around from the NC Turbo build, and I'd like to delete the MAF. I'll also have the option to get a Racepak dash setup alond with a move to E85 at some point.

Cheers mate. I'm tossing up between an ED XR garnish and a Fairmont garnish at the moment. It's a damn fun car to drive,

Your teasing me i so want to go out in mine at the moment especially with a V8 you would have bucket loads of torque

the-garage-f53/granny-spec-ea-before-pictures-and-after-t114587-75.html

this might make you make your mind up on which to chose

But i guess you could give it a "gloss" black coat just like factory on the garnish seen it on anther members car and it came out quite sweet

XR garnish' are close enough to black lol. But being a dark car, it could pull it off because there isnt so much white everywhere lol.

Stereo started. Pioneer AVH-P6350BT installed, still need to run wiring for amps (2x stock Ford Alpine) fit splits front and rear, and sub install.
