I'm so glad someone else has discovered the AU cover is the same as the E series one just clear and with a locating tab!

Yeah man, i discovered it 2 weeks ago that my mates au has the same cover, but clear, and it still fits. Look so much better than the stupid milky one, and lets more natural looking light through.

Well as i couldn't decide if i wanted to paint the EB kick panels, get another cappa EF one, i decided on getting another drivers EF one, and fitting them. But first, i thought i'd try something else. I covered them in the same material that i did the door trims inserts in. What you think?

Yeah i first did it years ago in a corolla i had. I tidied it up and made a good profit selling it. Trimming is quite easy. I've done a few full retrims. The corolla i did was a 85, and i fitted a 95 dash and door trims, and covered it all it black crushed velvet, along with the roof lining. It looked sweet.

Well i got me a 4DAD, arrived yesterday to my mates place, so i picked it up today and put it in.

Car runs PERFECT now. Fans runs when they should and how they should. Now i can actually enter diag mode and adjust the base idle, so now it idles up when cold, run s smooth and drives great. In a couple of days when it all smooths out, it'll be even better.

So becuase i got my new computer in, i fitted my kickpanels

I think they suit well with the doortrims, and go with the car. Its kind of a poxy choice of material, but i seem to like it anyway. :D

Hopefully tomorrow i will get some done to the garnish, and maybe fit the EL intake tube if i can find some stainless pipe. (i thought i had some, turns out i used it)

Andrew.

Thanks guys,

The downlight look mwas easy, i just soldered 3 let/resistors together, and pointed them in the 3 directions. Then when i soldered them into the bulb holder, and mounted them up under the dash, not in the oringinal places in the bottom of the dash. :)

And yeah, i have some sort of fetish for the flame material.... :D:D:D
