Ah so your the one who added me. Thanks for the comments,
Got me premo headunit back today, and i'm happy to say not only does it all work, but sounds fantastic. The really are a premium factory system. They got me a cappacino setup, and it can't be recoed, it HAS TO BE NEW, its just too perfect, absolutly no imperfections on the faces or screens, just brilliant. Also my missus got me some hertz 6.5's for the back too, and they go well with the JL's in the front. It really does sound wicked. Once i've modified my surround to fit the double din, i'll get some pics

Hey there,
After seeing how good Benj's latest lighting mod looked, i just had to follow suit, but with the white/purple Led's i've been using. Here the trims come off again to run the wiring. I assumed the Fairmont loom would have it, but i was wrong. After a while, i have the trims back on, with a wire tail ready for the led's to be soldered on Then i unplugged all my miny looms, and soldered the leds onto them Then i drilled the holes in, and glued the leds in, once dry i refitted. And viola I know the pics suck, man its hard to photo such stuff. Here is my sexytime HU I still need to trim the surround to fit the double din. With care, i should get it. And the hertz speakers my missus bought me, not as stock looking as i wanted, but still plain enough And a random pic of her bum. Next mods, the head combo. (i hope)

Car is looking great matey, getting better every time! Cheers RD

Looks good mate
lots of effort been put in. With those Rear Speakers why don't you just take the grills off and paint them a cappuccino color ? look better that way and more stockish |

Thats exactly what i'd love to do, its hard to get cappa coloured paint though, unless i get a custom mix.
I might visit autobarn and look into it thanks for the comment.

Thanks laticia.
Well first update in a while, over xmas money was super tight, and still is a little, anyway. My drift car had a pretty much new walbro 265 fuel pump in it, and the EB's pump was suspect, so i pulled the walbro out and fitted it into the EB. There was modding required. Cover and stupid ring pulled off, and pump out Are the ring things supposed to have a bigass hose clamp on them? Comparison of the pumps Note i cut the bottom angle off, as it is not needed to hold the walbro After a little modding, its in Like i was never there After a nice long drive in it then, it has more grunt now, noticably smoother, and the light throttle intermittent surge is gone, its great now, so i guess my old pump was stuffed, go figure. While out on our trip, we stopped into autobarn to get some interior product for the dash and top of the door cards, and i got some dye that i'm going to try on my armrests, as they are faded like every other cappa arm rest. Also got prices on the remaining parts required to do my head and cam, and then went to my engine builder mate and he will do then parts for 60%cheaper, and he quoted my head work, so in about 2 weeks i will be dropping my head into him so he can get it done. ya'll see how it goes soon.

yeah that ring is supposed to be there, it helps hold the threaded plastic ring in place.

Oh cool its ment to be there sweet.
Yeah its alot better even now after the fuel pump change, it was alot worse than i thought, and finally that surge is gone, WOOT! my engine mate is going to rebuild the bead, and do a 3 angle valve cut, slightly open up the combustion chambers, perfect the ports, and shave it a little to raise the comp. Along with the cam, and the car going on the dyno to get tuned, i think it should be fun enough.
