I thought someone would notice this, lol.

The lug on the back of the AU repeaters seems to be too big to go into the hole, the inner skin of the guard is in the way, by simply turning them, the fit.

How has everyone else gotten around this?

Thats an awesome job, well done. Looking forward to more progress with this car

Also, if you get sick of the "broomstick" gear shifts, try cutting it down 35mm and weld...... makes the shifts feel much better and less throw between gear changes

Haha yes the shifter is rediculously high! Funny thing is though, i never really thought it was so tall until i did the swap, now it just looks huge.

I was initially going to pull it off at work and cut and weld it, howver i have been thinking about making a custom one on the lathe. Trying to think of a cool design.

We'll see what i come up with,

Thanks for you comments mate.

Andrew.

Looking even better Andrew.

There is a Cappacino Fairmont Ghia with leather seats at the wreckers here. Would look nice I reckon. No one down here wants them as they are not grey. LOL

Well, I guess I could give them a call/drop around tomorrow and find out.

If you sent me the $$$$ I could go and pull them out for you and hang on to them for a bit until you get down here.

You of course would have to come down on a Friday and hang out with us all at Liverpool.

We may have to speak further on this :D

If you could find out how much they want, and maybe get a couple of pics/condition of them all, that would be great. Maybe we can go from there, if its not to much drama for you?
