Ah phuck dude. I've been sitting here getting about $500 a week since injuring myself (down from around $1000 in the hand...) and have been finding that bad enough... Could be a good time to set up a nice quiet little business doing odd jobs that the tax man won't find out about for a year or three.

I'm sorry to hear that too. I have been worried about the same thing happening to me. What did you do for a job?

Funny thing is, the press is making it sound like the end of the world. I haven't heard of anybody losing their jobs though...

You guys are young enough not to have been through the times when there are no jobs no matter how hard you try... These things do happen, and when it does it sucks big time. I agree with the press actually causing more problems than is actually called for... They say "business confidence is at an all time low" and then people stop spending money on their businesses and the press is proved "correct" even tho they're the ones who scared everybody into that mindset!

All the best tho brother... I've got work to do but not up to it - don't know which is worse... Probably equally frustrating...!

Hey hey guys,

I am a mechanical fitter, and have been working as a welder fabricator building earth moving attachments and truck bodies etc.

I went seen my old boos today, and he gave me a pretty attractive job, so all is now good.

Yeah i hear ya Fiend, the media makes it seem worse and i guess it went to my head, but alkl is sweet now, and its a massive load of my shoulders, bills dont pay themselves.

Anyway, back to the Ghia. This is todays progress.
