hmm its only a 8-10 hour drive... lol. i might be heading up that way in a few months to move house for someone... but would only be up there untill the trucks unloaded... probebly a waste of time considering the local place done my old head for $111 including 5-6 welds

yeh thats not to bad of a price i imagine you would looking at that for freight even if it was only one way

stoj79- The pics above have the 2.5" Blocks in it- they were removed tho as the tailshaft was hitting the floor. Will get some new pics up today of it with the 2" blocks.

kelv_05ef_wagon- Yeah man sounds good i just wanted to get one shaved to make sure its 100% sweet to go- dont wanna put in another one and have the same head troubles straight away.

Yeah- it looked nice but it wasnt practical as everytime i hit a small bump in the road the tailshaft smashed the floor. The 2" blocks are going to be removed soon tho as i have heard alot about axle tramp with them and i will be gettin the rear springs reset.

I have 2.5" blocks in my EB Wagon, however, I also have spring overrider/helpers which stiffen the rear end.

I only get the tail shaft rubbing with four adults in the car and heavy throttle application. This is due to the use of the blocks, which allows for greater pinion movement under heavy acceleration.

I plan to get proper reset leaf springs sometime this year. This includes and extra leaf for around the $300 mark.

Cheers
BenJ

Yeah i was thinking the same but i gotta be able to fit heapsa s**t in the boot- Pram etc- ( got 2 little boys under 2) I have some sick 6" splits in front door, tweeters in dash and 6" 3 ways in tail gate. I have a box set up ready for 2 12" Subs- then i am done. That will be ebough doof doof in the car with kids. Most that will happen after that is possibly a double din head unit and screens but not for months yet.

you seriously wont need 2 12's in a wagon, as your in the same cabin as the subs you will hear them very loud. i use a single 10" kicker competition dual 2ohm sub running 290wrms and i have the headunit set into the -'s i think -3 for the sub as its just too loud. even a single 8 will suffice. but then again it depends how many noise complaints you want. i get plenty of attention with the single 10 and i dont even turn it up load as the front splits distort due to s**t internal amp on the sony headunits.
