Hello everyone! Thought it was time to make myself a build thread on this forum.

This is my 1996 EF futura. I got it off my parents about 2 years ago. The car started as a standard falcon with a pin stripe and dolfin stickers and has slowly been modified into what it is today :) .

There will definitely be future mods :)

Mod list as of today.

Exterior

-Super low king springs all round with monroe gt sport shocks
-15% tint by Endrust Cairns
-Some debadging (failed)
-19inch ANZ Velvets in gun metal grey
-3.5inch single tip
-EL XR6 Tickford skirt kit
-Tinted tail lights

Interior

-Smoothed and painted, gloss black dash plastics
-Dyed dash in satin black
-Dyed door trims, satin black
-Custom trimmed door inserts in red Vinyl
-Fairmont ghia door spears painted gloss black
-Fairmont ghia, chrome door handles, with black surrounds
-Fairmont ghia chrome button shifter
-Red LED and LCD dash conversion
-Fully sick red octane throw over seat covers
-Pioneer head unit

Engine

-Engine rebuild x 2 (gaskets, bearings, rings)
-Crow double valve springs
-20thou shaved off head
-2.5inch Difilippo cat-back exhaust
-Flash panel filter and hacked out airbox lol

Future mods
-Slotted rotors
-Maybe ultra lows in the rear
-Extractors, chip, cam... the usual.
-Pro seat leather seat covers, black carpet and roof lining

PROGRESS PICS:

Damn that's a nice EF, good work. Interior paint work looks really good int he picture.

Yet again we see how the EF front pisses and craps all over the EL one.

Hey dude. Nice car!
I've got a couple of questions for you about the valve springs you're running. I recently chucked a wade 1673 into my el and now have horrible valve bouncing at 3200rpm+. Have you got the crow double valve springs? Did you put them in yourself? Was there any machining required for them? Just looking to get a set but not too sure as they say they're made for the au head.

Cheers mate

Sam

Not too sure to be honest. My brother took care of the head work.

Nice, the original EF get up is said to be an efficient one indeed.
