Hi all I thought I would start a project thread on my ef futura I have had the car about a month now and when I bought it it was dead stock apart from being put on gas
Here is the car when I first looked at it First mod I did was was put some wheels on it and they are 17on Rodney janes Last weekend I up graded the trim to all el xr trim I haven't got pics yet Future plans are to lower it do exhaust and then I'll clean the body up and play with the engine if anyone has any ideas on what I can do to my ef fill free to tell me thanks |

Yea thanks mate its not to bad has some scrap and bumps on it but for its age and km it's not bad

I got all the trim cleaned and finished off still need to steam clean the carpet put the rest is clean

nice car man. Firstly it has mass sleeper potential being a V8, secondly, those wheels look mint, i was gonna buy them for my car but wasnt sure, but seeing them on yours i think i might. Whats your plans for it?

Thanks mate I had a choice of these wheels and el xr wheels but I like these better my plans at this stage is put the 3.45 xr diff in that I have out of my doner car lower it so it dont look like a 4wd and exhaust and sterio at this stage then latter on I would like to paint it in the same colour and put a tickford body kit on it but that will be a little while away yet

As i said to a mate of mine, i dont often see wheels that i really really want but these were the exception. Definetly lower it, the 3.45 will be a great help and the exhaust is a great starting mod for a bit more go, goodluck ill be keeping my eyes on this

Well tomorrow is d day for me and two friends we are putting new diff in my car new exhaust and lowering it as well as putting a new rack and pinion and changinge a second diff in my wife's Ef ghia going to be fun day

So I rebuilt the front end and lowered the futura on the weekend I used. All the front end out my doner xr6 not shore if there is any difference and I lowered the front with pedders low springs and monero shocks the rear end I lowered with ssl king springs and monero shocks look a lot better all that I need to do now is change the diff tithe xr diff and control arms any way time for pics
