I used Brake Caliper Paint, did have enamel but the guy said it would of came at real glossy which I didn't want, just want a Red without heap of glossy look etc but again will do it again if needed etc no drama, still looks better then the previous one etc.

Hey guys just noticed that me flywheel has a few damage teeths on it, would it be ideal to replace it? will post some pics shortly.

if so anyone got me for cheap :)

Unless your car is fitted with a manual, it is called a flexplate, the outer teeth on these and flywheels are called the "ring gear". Yes would be a good idea to replace as it will only get damaged futher with the starter motor.

Hey guys got a Flex Plate coming today from EF XR6 will have it after the guy finishes work etc,

starter motor I'm gonna replace in a couple of weeks for now it will do.

hey guys new flex plate on however broke a damn bolt and chipped a thread so gonna replace the bolt tomorrow, do one thing good and then something else goes crap lol fun fun.

yeah it all good, the thread looks ok so will just replace the bolt no biggy just little annoying.

also need more paint for the BBM ran out.

I like the black! Looks nice :D

And the engine looks great all cleaned up like that, I'd love to do the same to mine (also a white EF 'Mont lol) but I don't have the equipment, knowledge or time to have it off the road unfortunately.

Thanks mate, still need to get some more paint on thursday has its not 100% painted, more like 85% atm, and yeah thanks hate a dirty engine so decided to clean it up since its was gonna be off the road for months (since november), did wanted to paint it fully like the block and sump, and other little things but was gonna cost more in paint etc and more time and I really want to get this thing back together asap since I will have me P's soon :D

.....still trying to get this flex plate bolt, only thing stopping me from reinstalling it apart from the bbm etc

hey guys flex plate is on finally thanks to the guy at athol ford wreckers etc (freebie :D), however having a slight problem with the trans is has rotated some how so now the holes to the engine dont line up etc, anyone know a way to rotate the trans? if that sounds right?

Do you mean the torque converter to flex plate bolt holes? Just turn the engine over :wink:

nah bellhousing bolts but all good back onto transmission, however split the trans lines so will have to fix that now :(
