hi all
ive decided to go turbo on my ef, i brought the parts off a fellow FM'der. i still need a few parts like intercooler piping, oil lines, dump pipe, and a few other bits and pieces but the main parts i have! my turbo setup will consist of home made turbo manifold from steampipe Holset HX35W turbo charger Siemens Deka 630cc squirters Bosch 044 fuel pump intercooler 600x300x75 Haltech E6X ecu my ef has been modded alot since i got it but i never done a built thread on it , so thats why im starting on now, if anyone has any tips or comments feel free to post, because i think ill need some help turbo'n my falcon lol cheers guys You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Reading you signature it says 2.5 exhaust, go the 3 inch, will suit the turbo much better. Anywho nice build will be a rocket with the hair drier on it.

I have a slight feeling with that gear you won't need to hope for good power, my guess 220+. what pound you looking at running?

ahah yeh lol i was gonna run about 8-10 psi no more , i wanna keep the stock motor, btr and diff , but ill be getting a lsd, i dont want anything crazy just a quick falcon with a good 1/4 time.
10 psi will do me..

A nice 5 speed conversion with the turbs and LSD will make it a wild ride!

i was going to go 5 speed but i got a shift kit and now i dont mind the auto, also isnt auto better for a turbo, cause iv read that the t5 wont handle alot of boost??

Yeah I know the feeling, I want to get my cyl head done but everything gets in the way. I'll will be watching this build. Really hope you get the out come your looking for.

before you do anything, make sure you replace the head gasket with a MLS gasket, will save you alot of work.

hmm i wasnt too keen on replacing the head gasket, but ill do it if it's gonna end up blowing with the turbo on, will save me replacing it later

i found out the hard way, changed two of them before the MLS. grab your self a genuine ford AU gasket they are a MLS gasket, around the $100 mark.

does it blow under a certain boost mark? say around 10psi??
