Keep it pretty stock I think, this example is far too good to mess with, and in some ways I wish I got a rough one so I could play with it. Only things left for me to do is maybe get the bumpers and nose cone resprayed as the original owner lived on a dirt road so it has a few stone chips. If a set of simmons FR18's popped up at a fair price i'd probably throw them on but other then leave her dead stock. Only mods so far is exhaust with EL GT headers and K&N filter and just the leads. Its a beautiful car to drive :)

Nice rides! That fairmont looked über cool, a 347 would be nice, but hey, you move on
So you bought the sprint from nothin suss? I read he sold it to a young Bloke who would probably keep it fairly original. It looks mint mate, I like your plans too!

Thanks mate, the fairmont was mad, and I wish I went through with the plans for a stroker instead of the BA, the BA lacked the road presence and uniqueness that the fairmont had, despite it being a newer and probably better car to drive. The Sprint is by far my favourite though :) Yeah I seen it at all ford day and holmsey gave him a ring and told him I was interested. three weeks later and a few hours talking to dan and she was mine :) he was sad to see it go, but im sure one day he will pick another one up.

yeah, it's good that it's remained in the forums with a ford enthusiast so atleast everyone including danny will still see it from time to time. Also at least you know its not going to get thrashed and just plained f**k up with stupid mods :)

Hey mate..

Good to see some pics and hear that the old girl is getting the respect she deserves!
Looking forward to seeing it about. Glad it stayed local.
I'll get another one some day. Either that or an original 307 HK Prem :)

It's been a while since my last post so I thought I'd give an update. I’ve changed the spark plugs with correctly gapped NGK's and replaced the 17 year old leads with some ICE 9.0mm that danny supplied with the car. Also replaced a broken EGR Solenoid that I found, a special thanks goes to xafalcon who came to the rescue and promptly supplied me with a working replacement ;) The car ran a lot better after that. I also neglected to mention danny had replaced the front rotors with slotted, me being a man of balance decided to change the rears to match with bendix pads, so now the car has slotted all round. Have also added venetians to keep the sun out and save the interior a bit but without affecting the originality of the car too much as I can just take them out. I took it for a drive down to lorne the other week and was amazed how well the car handled for a 17 year old stock suspension falcon. Was very impressed, my mates VN SS was no way near the pace :D Plans in the near future are to fix a leaking rear main seal, respray the front end, and maybe just maybe lower it a touch more on koni shocks :D I have also sold my XR8 ute which I got good money for, I recouped some of the money I had spent on it which as we all know is a rare feat. So as of now I’m after a new daily. My dad has also rejoined the blue oval with his purchase of a brand new FG XR6 Ute on dedicated gas, we both love it. Here are some pictures to enjoy

Always is with a car of this caliber. I wish my Xr8's were anywhere close to this clean!

Cheers
