OK
For those in the know, and those who are not, here is the list of my latest and greatest MODS

1. BF Typhoon front Bar. Painted and fitted my Green Machine( thanks man)

2. Recently the EMS had an update to a full sequential setup. As a result i also installed a complete coil pack conversion( thanks Jagga for the bits). Used the coils from an AU, and a modified aftermarket dizzy that supplies both cam and crank sensors for the EMS. This has worked extremely well.
Also installed a Phenolic spacer between the upper an lower of the RPMII Manifold.

3. BBK 70mm TB and matching EGR. These were not a direct fit and needed several mods to get the throttle cable to bolt on and correctly open the butterfly.

4. Herrod 3000rpmstall,to replace the previous 2800 stall. This is causing all sorts of dramas and i am looking to 66coupe for inspiration on solving these issues.

5. PWR 4 core Rad. As i have posted elsewhere, this is not a plug and play job, and took over 6 hours to fit. It was well worth it though, as the dyno time saw no higher figures than 95deg c during tuning.

6. Fitment of LTD Grey door trims to replace my Mont ghia trims. These are velour instead of the leather, and included padded velour armrests. Thanks Private9 for the bits.

As at the last Dyno run conducted on Friday at Crescent, she made 176rwkw at 6200 rpm, and average torque of 440nm. The Torque reading starts at high 300's and from 3200rpm onwards, does not drop below 420nm, with a peak of over 520nm.

The car has finally started to come alive, but the auto keeps going into Limp Mode, so need to sort that out real soon.

Many thanks to Joe at Crescent for his patience with it, and the long hours to get it to where it is now. I am currently awaiting a new set of fuel rails and the final piece will be added, the 8 shot NOS kit( as apposed to my current single shot before the TB.

What is noticable is how easily it revs and is now inclined to hit the 6500 limiter, as it did on the dyno.

I will post some pics tomorrow, as it is late, and there is not enough light to see what i have done.

Cheers
Brett

Very nice mate, some nice mods in there.

If you dont mind me asking, what were the major issues while fitting the PWR radiator? Was there sufficient clearance with thermos?

Also what are the specs of the rest of the engine? Heads, cam etc?

Sounds like you need the module for the trans for when you install a high stall, fools the trans into thinking its not slipping when you take off.

The issue woth the PWR is the sheer size of the thing. It is too tall and a large amount of metal needs to be removed from the bottom radiator support panel, then the top rad support needs to be folded up, so the corners clear it and the rad ill fit in.

The rest is basically, as follows
Comp Cams 282HR
Sportsman heads, 2.08 intake, 1.6 exhaust. 1.72 RR
Genie extractors
2 1/2in from cats to y pipe, then 3 inch for the rest
EMS 8860 ECU
3.9 diff gears
This motor is 237000k old, had the heads and cam about 10k ago.
It is in a 96 S2 Mont Ghia
Have taken pics but need to work out how tro upload them

Damn!!!!! That is one big radiator, well at least it looks that way squashed between the twin thermos and radiator support. Definately looks the part too.

Love the front end too mate, best looking front bar/bonnet/grill set-up i've seen on a e-series, Top Job!!!!

Also how did you go about modifying t/b and cable etc to fit. I've got a Ford Racing one with matching EGR spacer on its way so im currently looking for ideas and different ways people have gone about it.

Got a copy of the dyno sheet?

Will be at Wagga AFD no Worries

Re the TB, had to remove one of the studs and drill/tap a thread into the EGR, then space the cable mount out so it had full throttle travel. hope that helps
Brett

Looking good Brett.

Eager to see it again myself, it's been a while. You still come by Canberra on occasion?
