Ride: BF Fairmont Ghia

Hey guys I've been looking for a car recently and finally found one! A late 05 BF Fairmont Ghia in lightning strike on black leather. It has the FPV sports steering wheel with matching woodgrain, but I'm unsure if this was standard or an option on mkI. Done 120000km. It was between this and a BA but the deciding factor was ZF, year model and this drives much much better. Anyway pictures speak a thousand words.

Congrats on your new ride!

The fat sports steering wheel with its matching woodgrain was standard on BA Mk2 Fairmont Ghia, along with woodgrain on the shifter handle.
BA Mk1 Fairmont Ghia had no woodgrain on the standard-thickness leather steering wheel nor on the shifter handle.

Your six-speed auto shifter has brushed chrome. The BF LTD six-speed shifter got the "Rabbit Rose" woodgrain that's in your car. I had one fitted in my BF Mk1 Fairmont Ghia (see pic).

Congrats man, nice pick up.
Any planned mods, and if you don't mind me asking how much did she set you back?
Thanks

I'm liking that shifter because the keather on my one is a but worn, might look into it later on. A djr spoiler, a lowering job, retint (since the back has bubbled) and a k&n filter. I don't mind saying how much, I think it was a great bargain, was on for 14k and we got it for 13.3k. I'm so happy!

yeah, sorry mate that came out much more arrogant than intended haha
wasnt specifically aimed at you, it just seems that some people on hear are more interested in the price of the car than whether its a nice car or not lol

I don't see why people are so private about not giving how much they paid for a car. It's like they're giving away part of their soul
