Yeah more pics would be awesome thanks mate, good to see I wasn't the only one with this idea... I'm very keen now... Cheap way to get that unique look... Just wish I could do something with the handles/gear stick.. But oh we'll can't fix everything.

i just got on the computer and had a better look at the photos then, they look really good. did the icc buttons and all... would have been a fiddly job?

i need to take it all apart to do an audio install anyways, so i might do it all at the same time i guess...
how much vinyl wrap did you use for the whole lot? hmm not sure if i want to do carbon/matte black/gloss black... but carbon does look good and ties in with the grey colour neatly...

I'll take some tomorrow with decent light and put them up.
The ICC is really easy to pull apart and the buttons were surprisingly easy to do, you just have to hit them with the right amount of heat to stretch nicely.

You can do the door handles and buttons fairly easily as well, at the time I did the wrap I hadn't yet figured how to completely disassemble the door trim.

I bought one 2meter by 30cm piece of wrap and had enough left over to do all the door handle inserts, the tissue box holder, plus one or two little bits here and there.

The only thing I didn't get with it was the gear stick and the silver frame around it.

One thing on the audio install. I recommend avoiding line converters.
I am going to switch over to a single din in the compartment between the seats, I just can't handle how much extra f**king round comes with the line converters.
You might feel they are worth the hours and 10s of meters of extra speaker wire and painstaking fiddling with levels however :P

Damn, that looks nice 2dads. I'd personally go with a gloss black, but the Carbon effect looks killer too! Well done mate.

Well, not much has happened recently. But have purchased some red carbon fibre vinyl wrap... Don't know how the red carbon fibre will look, but oh we'll only cost me $9. So sorry Uniacidz for stealing your thunder lol

Umm also need a hand with the setup on my 'Frankenstein' exhaust setup. It's twin 2.25", umm... Want to do it as cheaply as possibly. So was thinking twin mid and rear hotdogs, or maybe twin mid round muffler (cannon) and rear hot dogs... I'm restricted by room, and funds. So help would be appreciated...

Also found this bloke on Ebay. So when you want to get a LSD, give him a buzz.

We're you going to try red too? Haha I did it as a last second decision thing... Don't know how it will go though... might be 'too much' I think. But we'll see how it goes...

That's not too bad. 1250 plus postage for the m80 kaaz centre.
Though I would like to find out more about the VT-VZ diff's, cause by the sound of it they run the same diff. So maybe hunting around I can get a LSD diff center out of a vt-vz for cheaper maybe.

As long as it's the M80 diff, the centre SHOULD fit. I'd just go the TrueTrac, $750 and you've got a brand spanking new LSD...

Yeah, I was going to go the whole colour coding thing lol but I think I'll stick with the standard carbon fiber look, so that way I can do the intake and fuse box cover etc also. Going to try polish up the rocker cover also, but not sure how to go about it (whether I take it off or polish it while it's on the car).

True that's very cheap... Probably wouldn't get much lower at a wreckers.

I never even thought of engine bay. Good idea though.
Wonder how well they hold up to high temps, or if you can high temp resistant vinyl maybe.

All in order from the side, rear to headers (minus cat), then from the top, headers to rear.

And I gotta say, the 3" inlet on that cat section is huge... Didn't realize 3" was really that big
