just looking into rotors to get for my new XR6T calipers... what im looking at may be vastly out of my price range but aye... a man can dream right lol

DBA
Street series
T2 - Front $360 (2107S) / Rear $200 505S / Total $560
Gold X - Front $300 (2107X) / Rear $300 (505X) / Total $600
4000 series
T3 - Front $460 (42107S) / Rear $300 (4505S) / Total $760
XS - Front $730 (42107XS) / Rear $420 (4505XS) / Total $1140
(** prices are from very quick ebay searches, so im not overly confident that they are the best pice... or even correct lol **)

im pretty confused, cause as far as i was aware the rear brake assembly is different on the XT's compared to the Turbo's. though according to the DBA part numbers, all FG's (that arent FPV models) have the same rear rotor part number. hmm weird... have to look into that one...

Yeah, rear rotors on the T and V8's are bigger than the NA and that's for BA/BF/FG...

apparently not...

the DBA part number for na fg and turbo fg rear rotors are the same, part # 505. its only the FPV models that have different rear rotors according to DBA rotor catalogue.

yeah i need to look into it, i cant see how that could be right unless they use unique pads or something weird... then again its most likely that i've just got the wrong idea about rear rotor sizes... i hope they are the same, cause then i dont need to change the calipers at all... ill just keep the ones i have and swap the rotors...

yeah me too, have been thinking about a custom low mount lol cause im a tight a** haha

Damn dude, you've got some work done since I was here last :D
If you're still looking for that info on how to pull disassemble and reassemble the ICC I'll hopefully be doing it to my car and posting the thread tomorrow ;)

Ahhhh okay, I was just scrolling through quick trying to take all the extra stuff that had been posted :D

Can you give a little run down on the shocks and springs? I wanna make sure I understand that one before the day I have to take mine off comes!

Been moving so I only got a few things done to mine recently. Gonna put a few more pics up today when I actually get out to the garage :)

will throw up a bit more detail later when im not sweating my balls off and not hot and cranky... but getting front shock/spring out with no coil compressors is a completely pain in the a**... its sorta free now, though i need 3 hands to just get the shock out from the tangled mess now... so gotta wait for the old man to come home in about 45min... so thats enough for now... time for a cold drink i say...

I come bearing gifts!
Here's the pics I promised so very long ago of where I put all my wires for the sound.
Plus I'm working on writing up that quick guide on how to remove and dismantle the ICC ;)

I apologise for the low quality pics, I've only got my crappy iphone to take them with. The damn camera wasn't working half the day :S
I moved all the wires so it'd be easier to see which panels they are under, where they go etc

So I have the power wire running up under the pedals, there is a nice big rubber piece halfway up behind them that is easy to find and drill through ;) access through the fire wall no problems
Attachment:
Wiring 1.jpg

Then they go under the side panels here, only take a flat head screw driver to lift the covers up and a phillips head to get them off
Attachment:
Wiring 2.jpg

Then down under the panel below the seat belt. I just lifted it up with a flat head and slid the cords under
Attachment:
Wiring 3.jpg

Then under the seat up beside it then back under where it folds down
Attachment:
Wiring 4.jpg

And finally they come up behind the seat where it folds down and into the boot!
Attachment:
Wiring 5.jpg

So you can get them all the way through the car without anybody seeing them, without ripping up carpets and most importantly, without the risk and messiness of running any wires outside the car

Hope this helps you mate

Thought I'd move back to your thread lol

which are more or less the same as AU from memory, as the replacement shocks/springs i have for the ute are from a b series ute...
but that would be good, cause if i stuff it up i wont have a car to get to work with lol get the whole car done within about 2 hours :)

The rears are a lot easier than the fronts. 2 hours would be lucky to get it done it, but easily an afternoon and it will be done.
