Personal note - stock 6 cyl na injectors 295CC 30lb/hr

I also have a set of stock fg xr6t injectors, I can't find much info on the stock ones... Just keep coming up with info about upgrading injectors... Anyone know what CC and lb/hr the injectors are?

just for your information too about that meguires stuff, u wasted your money bro, lol, i do detailing on the side, and any detailer will tell u off the shelf meguires stuff is rubbish and over priced because it comes from the US, the only good things there are the nu finish, and the ultimate protectant, that deep crystal stuff is like a quick shine/ wax thing, u use it after u wash the car to make it look shiny, dont use it after uve polished n waxed it, just after u wash n chamois it, its not bad, but over priced for what u get... that scratch x 2.0 throw it in the bin, if u dont know what your doing u may aswell get some 2000 wet n dry and rub ur car down with that instead, and there is no way ur 2010 falcon needs it yet, not a chance, the nXt 2.0 wax is ok, but again ridiculously over priced and that nXt car wash is just as good as the armoural s**t u can get from kmart for 1/4 price u pay for that, did u pay $150 for the 6 items in your 1st foto, or 150 for all that s**t in the second foto, cuz if it was for the second foto, u definatley didnt waste your money then, that would be a bargain

Sorry, but do you get your stuff off the shelf also, or do you buy direct from a supplier?

I personally noticed the difference between a $5 bottle of Armorall, and a $25 bottle of Meguires and that's on a 2 year old car. The difference is mostly in the fact that it stays cleaner, for longer and produces a better shine and actually holds it. Not everyone has time to wax after most washes, because they used a cheap cleaning product. If anything, I found that my wash gives a better after wash shine than spending 2 hours waxing afterwards, because by the end of it I'm sick of it and end up half assing the wax job. Sure, if you're being paid to detail a car, you'll do the job 100% properly, but not if it's your weekly clean.

Sorry That's what I should have said, that meguires stuff does last a bit longer and keeps the car looking nice for a bit longer than that armourall crap, but if the bloke works next to a factory where it gets dirty on a weekly basis, it easier to use the cheap s**t, as the purpose of the meguires is as u said to keep it looking mint for longer, just saying, meguires is s**t house for what u pay, I never said it was s**t house full stop, it's just crap for what u pay is all..

If it's so crap, please tell us what to use to get the best clean.

Sorry to interrupt... Lol
But...

Ignition coils (correct me if I'm using the wrong name), are stock fine to use in a performance setup? Are all stock ignition coils the same (eg xt, xr, fpv, 6 cyl, 8 cyl)? Are their aftermarket ignition coils available?

Secondly... Brakes.
Upgrading existing stock sized rotors (298mm I believe) to slotted with better then stock pads, is it worth it? Or is the only way to go, the expensive way... Upgrading size (and therefore calipers too)?

Slotted with bendix ultimates will perform more than well enough for mild turbo applications man.

As for ignition coils, they are the same for the turbo setups etc. There are aftermarket coils available, but they are not worth the cash unless you're pushing a lot of boost and need that extra spark advance.

be warned though slotted discs with ultimate pads will create alot of brake dust and will build up on your rims, and if u dont wash ur rims once a week the brake dust will be very hard to get off, i stopped using ultimates for that reason, i use the heavy duty pads from bendix, feels no different and i get 3/4 less the brake dust than the ultimates, ultimates handle better under heat/ heavy loads, but for everyday driving, and to piss off that annoying brake dust, id go the heavy duties, not unless of course you intend on driving like a race car driver, being heavy on the brakes on and off and such, then go with the ultimates, the heavy duties only worth about $90 - $100 per pair also as apposed to the $160 - $220 (depending where u can get em) per pair for the ultimates, ultimates will last u longer also, but not by that much its worth having to spend every weekend scrubbing brake dust off your rims... ultimates are definitely a far superior brake pad than heavy duties, but like i said, u wont notice it until u fkin thrash its guts out and get the brakes real hot, thats where the ultimates out perform the heavy duties..

race car driver -----> ultimate's
normal driver with a couple fangs here and there and the odd thrash who doesnt wanna clean brakes dust off rims every week ---> heavy duties
