Hi guys,

I joined up on this wonderful website a week or two ago and thought it was time I introduce my new family ride 03/98 Falcon Gli.

I used to own a Heritage Green EL XR6 back in 03' but I soon traded that for my current ride/toy car 'BA Xr6 Turbo' which i've owned since 04/2005.

My current mission is to get this El gli to look just like my El xr6 did and am currently in the process off buying/picking up some goodies as we speak.

I think thats enuff for now but i will update the build on my ride as we go along...

cheers

Sorry, 4got about the pics....lol

I'll second that, looks awesome with the red strip breaking up the blue. Look forward to seeing updates on this!!

Wow!!!

Thankss for the lovely feedback guys. :)
The colour has really grown on me and the most lovely thing about it is it changes colour when the sun shines on it and it gives such a wonderful sparkle/shine.

Just got back from picking up a EL XR6 Bonnet and a EL XR6 Tickford cluster both for $200. :)
The bonnet is on as we speak but im waiting for the front bar to arrive from Sydney so i can send it off to the panel beaters and get it painted in the lovely Galaxy Blue colour.

I also picked up a el xr6 clock, interior xr6 spear badge, exterior tickford badge,
xr headlights and indicators so yeah its starting to look like my old EL XR6 but yeah just a matter of getting all the panel work done before all the goodies go on. Cant wait. :)

Thanks for the feedback mate. :)
The interior actually is a standard gli but yeah i have been chasing xr headrests but nobody want to sell them separately from the seats which i totally understand.

The xr front bar should arrive from sydney tomorrow or the day after which will go straight into the paint shop inc the bonnet. :)

I will update this thread as just as the car gets updated. :)
