Hey there mate, did you notice before or after you serviced the T5 it grinding when shifting from 4th to 5th? If I do a normal shift in my AU it will grind a bit, if I do grandpa shift it wont.

Hey Mate

No grinding from 4th to 5th. Crunches on 1st and reverse a bit. Still got a whine! Been using as a daily and been so busy at work havent had anytime to investigate further.

Did you service yours?

I used Castrol Transmax Z i also put in the additive too but its not required with this oil. Not cheap but it gets good reviews.

Sorry for slooooow reply! Have been so busy lately. Poor ute needs some love and attention.

Been checking yours out. looks great mate.

Just took a couple with phone. Not great but you might get an idea. Will try and get better in daylight!

That muffler looks the goods! There isnt much room if you do a dual outlet system. I could replace my two mufflers with that magnaflow one, might stop some scraping!

Mine was just a cheap fix at the time, not the best shop and they rooted my abs sensor! Need to take it to a decent shop, although the sound is spot on.

cheers

Yeah that's great mate. Means more toys!

I'm off work now for couple of weeks. Just need to find a decent shop to fit it up. Such a nice bit of kit, don't want it stuffed up!

Need something more practical with kids etc....so ute is gone!! Im starting with detailing on the side. Here is my hilux which i just picked up cheap. After a paint correction and a good detail it came up a treat. When i got it the water did not bead at all and the paint felt like sand paper.

Here are a few pics post detail with nice reflection now and lots of colour in the black paint!!

Need a detail in Newcastle area let me know!

Cheers

Im only just starting out so prices will be pretty cheap! Just registered as Liquid AutoCare.

I only use quality imported products and not off the shelf stuff.

Example used on Hilux was

Prefoam wash with autobrite lance and foam
Wash with two bucket method
Clay with mint lube and clay magic blue fine grade
Rinse down
Menzerna Polishes using lake country pads ( under 1000w hal lamps)
Foam rinse and wash
Paint clean with IPA
2 coats of Dodo Blue Velvet premium wax 24hrs apart.
Engine degreased with mint APC and wiped down with 303
Windows and headlights polished with AG glass polish

Paint wouldn't run off paint before and now its hard to keep it wet!!

Im in Sydney next week for work so will be visiting the importer to pick up more goodies. Most people just want a quick wash and polish with interior cleaned. I can do that but won't damage the paint by adding swirls with poor techniques.

Parked next to another black Hilux today and was very happy!!

Will definately have to work something out with you. I am very impressed by the results on the lux.
