Okay I miss read you post about it sorry. One thing I am wondering is how far could I extend the runners before I start to get negative effects torque wise?

No idea.

One spacer works fine and the thickness is negligible I reckon. And extra 1/2 inch won't affect much.

Cool but will It increase my bottom end torque like it says? I just dont want to buy it and find out its a waste.

I can't see it being a waste at all, performance gains/drops will be 1/10th of f**k all I reckon, it won't be noticeable really...

If it gives you a gain well hurrah! But afaik the main point of it is to lower intake manifold temps.

Im curious on what difference there would be by putting a eb series 2 cam in would do? I know the duration is abit longer but what would I see torque and horsepower wise positive or negative effects?

They all have the same cam except XRs AFAIK.

Performance (if any at all) wouldn't be worth the work.

You can get a cam and chip for around $600, that's the best thing cam wise unless your doing an XR6 replica type build.

Does the eb head have bigger ports or valves compared to my ea? Or are they the same and how much would I benefit if I port and polish the eb head? Im also going to open up and polish the log manifold when I get. What will the lane be like with 3.45 diff gears and the opened up manifold?

Heads are all the same. (I'm sure we've been through this already?)
XR heads though have bigger exhaust ports, and the XR cam simply takes advantage of this with its different specs for a little more poke (nothing spectacular at all around 5-10kw from memory), higher pressure reg and ECU tune to match.

Port matching the intake manifold and porting the head makes the flow smoother but there isn't any major performance gain, it just helps out the air flow and removes any possible hinderances.

3.45s will make it a little quicker off the mark. I haven't done that yet, but I have a 3.23 diff ready to go into mine from a 4 speed NC fairlane.
XRs had 3.45s.

It will all add up to a nice package in the end.

Have you seen your mate with the VL recently? lol.

EDIT: XRs had 161kw, standard had 148kw

Okay so what would a port and polish do for the head? Nah havent seen the vl lately.
