A work mate told me his brothers nc fairlane auto was playing up and he'd had a gut full of it and wanted to sell it or wreck it out, well went and looked at it he told me a price for it with 1/10 rego and its mine now .The old thing is straight and could only find one spot of rust around from a paint chip but the best thing its a 5L with heaps of room for an intercooler at the front.Took some pic's for you's anyway

Hey, nice pick up.

You could put two intercoolers up the front in that space LOL.

I did consider the Fairlane/LTD front for the wagon for that reason, but a certain bonnet was way to cool to pass up on.

This should be a nice ride when you are done.

Cheers
BenJ

G'day Phill,
Good to see you went ahead and bought it. As I said when you were telling me about it, for the price, if you didn't buy it I certainly wasn't going to hesitate getting it (I need another fairlane like a hole in the head atm, but you can't pass up a bargain like that when it comes your way).
When you get it all sorted, you'll have to give me a call so we can meet up. Can't wait to check out this one mate....it looks to be in mint condition, good score!
And yes...you are now officially a member of the FM LWB club, only thing left to qualify is to add your NC to the NC/DC thread

Fitting the I/C is the easy part, connecting it up with minimal bends is the fun part. Orange car not for sale anymore??

Some boosted goodness will make for some sleepiness

Cheers
