Hi all, just got my EFii ford last week with 180k on the clock.
Already cut some holes in the back for my pioneer 450 watt 6:9's.

Hopefully by this weekend she'll have lowered king springs all round with monroe lowered shocks, got the whole set for $150 BARGAIN!.

Then in the future plans for new 5 spoke alloys, Cam and pacemaker extractors and a 2.5' catback exhaust.
I plan on keeping you all updated!
Possibly even thinking about a manual conversion but we shall see what the cards have in place.

Looks clean man, now springs and shocks will make it look better, also remove the mud craps :).

also manual conversion will be good, going to do one also later in the year when $$$ comes into my hand and time etc etc.

any plans on engine mods?

Haven't thought to much about engine conversions just yet, replacing the calipres and brake pads today since I found out the front ones where seized haha.
But if she's good to me in the future, there's a possibility of a head swap and a turbo maybe.

It all depends on cashflow, time, and If I find the right stuff at the right price.

Did find a nice set of 5 spoke alloys for $160 about to go pick them up now, will upload a photo when they're on :)

Sounds good, and that's pretty good on the rims.

Alright it's been a long couple of days with my new baby but things are starting to come together now.
Found a set of 18'' rims for $160 with tread, two of the tyres needed replacing due to being bald.
Chucked them on with the ford offset and guess what, it's for the AU and above.
Not to worry quick run down to autobahn, got the spacers now there's about an ants d**k worth of space between the control arm and rim.
Then I realized the tyre is actually rubbing against the lower ball point of the control arm.
So front tyres are now running 235/40/R18 and the back is 245/40/R18.
For the moment it's going to stay like that.
After changing the tyres over I realized one of them was warped enough to hit the control arm again
-_-.
Not to worry swapped them over and now everythings dandy.

Went to due my front brake pads and one of the calipers was seized >.<
Quick jot off to the wreckers two new calipers and front brake pads.
While doing up the slide it snapped, a very common thing so I hear, quick rummage around my tool box found a bolt that made due for the time being.
Next day got a new slide from the wreckers.
Picked up the Lowered King springs struts and shocks and they look f**k nice for $150!

So all in all, that was one hectic two days.
Gave her a nice wash today using professional car washing and waxing liquad and smashed the rims with some tyre acid.
I'm very happy with the outcome :)

Oh before I forget also managed to get my 450 watt Pioneer 6:9's in the back after some grinding and my 250 watt Pioneer 6's in the front with a kenwood 1200 watt sub running off some amp.
Sounds great.

Next up getting the whole car tinted for $200 then 2.5 inch catback.

$1300 for the car
$150 - Lowered King springs and struts
$160 - Rims
$120 - New tyres
$70 -Two front calipers
$31 - QFM Performance brake pads

Bring it out to liverpool one friday night, introduce yourself. Most people are now either E series or AU V8's out there, show them a nice clean six again.

So things have been slowing down a bit since It's been heading up to easter and the workshop has been smashed with cars -_-.

But this long weekend i'll be sticking the lowered king springs and struts in.
Fixing up the speaker that isn't working.
Throwing a new sub in there and hooking hte 6x9's up to the amp.

And if I get really bored i'll probably make a quickshift kit for it.

Alright got some seat covers after finally discovering how useless the cup holders in EF'S are ha.
Spent most of today putting me rear king springs in without a hoist -_-.
Ha was good fun though, will probably spend most of tomorrow sticking the front springs in.
Really happy with the level it's at, glad I went with lows and not super lows.

Got some photo's of the interior modifications for you guys.

Next up is the catback :)

Not that anyone's actually giving feedback ha.
But today I got sick of looking at my headlights so went and picked up a repair kit from the local repco for $35 because I have mad connections.

Also since this ford is determined to not just "modify" without any issues.
Since putting in the back springs I have come to realize that the shocks are f**k, most likely the original ones that came with the car 182k ago.

Luckily again with hectic mad connections managed to pick up a pair of short travel rear shocks for $65 for the pair.
So that'll fix that problem.

Front low king springs with Monroe GT struts will be going in sometime this week when I get time after work.

And after that it's just the exhaust and i'll be happy :) some before and after of the headlights.

Untill next time FORDMODS.
Also I'm probably in need of a camber kit, if anyone has one lying around let me know and i'll take it off your hands ;)

looks like a nice and clean base car to start modding. love the colour too! lol. a tickford body kit should be on your to do list too, it would set it off i think.

Looks good mate! Lowering it really set it off in combination with the 18's! Maybe an XR front end would be something to consider?

Hadn't thought much about body mods just yet, i've always loved a bit of stealth.
Ha though atm she isn't looking overally stealth having it literally dumped at the back.
But I might considering some tickford parts.

I'm fairly impressed with how far she's come in only three weeks.
