Wow, yeah, the thread really did go quiet; sorry about that everyone! Thanks for all the good comments guys, I really appreciate it.

As Brad said, I went on a couple of overseas holidays this year between June and October, so progress slowed right down for them.

The project is still 100% going. We are currently having a few issues slowing us down; but nothing we can't resolve.

Anyway, everyone loves photos - I appologise for them being phone photos, but you get what you're given! Ha ha

Be interesting to see how long that takes. At least it's heading where we wanted it to.

Yep, spot on. It's Machu Picchu in Peru; the Inca ruins. Was an amazing place.

Yeah, those mountains look awesome.
Great work on the car too, BTW - was never keen on the AU XR fronts, but I'm coming around.

The new engine was built using an non-VCT AU1 engine. Advice for anyone else. Use an AU2 or 3 engine.
There is a bunch of little s**t in the AU1 engine that can be a PITA.

Wow, I haven't been on here in ages but I saw this notification come through.

Car is 100% definitely still happening but life has slowed it down. I now live in Bunbury in WA; the car is still in Townsville with Tickford_6 who is still working on it for me. Scope hasn't changed - still going to be the same as described in this thread.

We've been in discussion and reckon it will be done by Christmas time.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was butting heads with a few of the more senior people on here, ha ha.

That's between him and them though, not me.
