i am fairly sure his stuff is more to just preserve and make the trims look good. i dont think it works on shagged ones, and lets face it, 95% of them out there are shagged

Mine are in that 95%
The rear quarters have so much pitting in them its not funny, even 40 grit sandpaper has a tough time bringing the pitting out

Nicco, what paint did you use to paint the trims with? I painted mine a while ago and it came out pretty good, but after sitting in the sun over the past few months, the paint drivers side window moulds have started cracking

i used K&H Plasti-Prime followed by K&H Matte Black to do everything. I used the same combo on my tail lights, and they havent had any grief sitting in the bastard townsville sun since late january! :P

and yeah, the window moulds are gay arent they, i couldnt get mine completely smooth just cause the pitting is too bad in a few spots. but they are now a s**t better than they were.

the car is all back together now, and looks awesome. but i want to clean it and give the rest of the paint a wax before i photograph it, so you willall have to sit tight for a couple more days

and on other good news fronts: i just put down a deposit on my big mod today, hopefully the parts will be on the truck sometime this week, around wednesday. :D f**k stoked! cant wait till i get to see it all!

yer problt but in the quote me mentions a creat motor
[quote="nicco"] BenJ: cheers man, i've been watching your build up for a while now as well. to be honest, i'm actually thinking more of keeping this thing and dropping a crate motor into it over the next couple of years instead of the FG ;) ha ha :quote]

i'm not and they are!!

mitch, i made that comment 9 months ago, a lot has changed since then. I'm sure you will have noted I have driven an FG GT since then, but i cant justify the money. I have also seriously considered selling this and buying a T3 TE(or S)50, but cant justify having a loan just yet. i just dont really fancy going around and changing my old comments thats all ;) but yeah, now that i have actually been working for 3.5 months and paying rent and all the other stuff my parents used to help me with, i am way more aware of how much it costs to live, mod money is harder to come by than i expected. ohh well, thats life i spose!

so i'll e honest, its not a crate motor, as much as i'd love one. but as to what it is, you'll have to wait and see! :p

and here is a little bit of light reading for you boys with regards to the mod motor in an earlier falc (something i'd really love to do eventually)

(you might have to be a member over there, but this one is definitely worth the effort!)
