on the bright side, i can get s**t hot tyres for cheap!! ha ha nah, plans are for a set of EL GTs next year, when the whole thing goes in for a lick of paint |

i rang around and got some quotes from local wreckers, they all wanted around the $1000 mark for everything inc door trims.
i ended up getting the wiring loom, 4 regs, 4 door trims and switches for $200 cost me $100 on top of that too get it here but still a bargain!!
all depends on how much of a hurry you are in as to wether or not you end up with a bargain |

yeh im gonna hit up the wreckers and see if they can cut me a deal but wreckers near mine are pretty scabby....
im not sure at what i gotta buy to do the job so im jsut thinking its regs, wires, switch control in front. and a fuse box set up for power windows.....

bare minimum: regs, switches (front and rear)
the wiring is proly just as easy to run new as it is to get hold of a loom for the fuse box, there are easy ways around it. either scavenge a clip from somewhere or just do what i did and solder the leg of the circuit breaker to cable. have a look at this (http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopi ... ght=window) thread for a bit more info. |

orightty then kidlets. its been too long without tinkering!
Got hold of a spare set of taillights of Nigel recently so i could try and mod them the same way as first shown to me by Mark154R. I did one this arvo (its bloody difficult trying to split the lights open without using an oven (i live on campus at uni, so no kitchens for us  ) instead had to fill the sink with boiling water and hope no one asked why i was in the bathroom with a taillight!!
i think it came up s**t hot. I've still got to do the other one and im not sure when i will get the time, so for now the stockies are back in, but these should whet the appetite.
