you and me both chaddy!

ford fairmont, supposedly its on the road now... will wait and see whats happening.

but onto brighter notes, it has been an awesome day up here today, weather has been perfect. so i decided to go for a bit of a highway drive. Went up and down one of local ranges a couple of times then just kicked back with the windows open and the music cranking. kick a*** stuff, best way to spend an afternoon for sure.

whilst on the way back though i saw something on the side of the road. looked a bit like a palm frond with no leaves. I thought to myself, "thats odd to see out this way, only gum trees here. and it actually looked a bit like a lip spoiler"

I drove for a few more minutes and decided it probably was a lip spoiler, so i decided to turn back and have a closer look, just for s**t and giggles.

on the way back i drove up to it, "yep, definitely a lip spoiler. i wonder what its off?"

so i got out and had a look...

(mind how dirty my car is too btw  )

so yeah, it looks like who ever had it before hit a roo (lots on that bit of road) and just ripped it off and left it there. f**k score!! its off an EL GLi (judging by the fact EL GLi is engraved into the under side of it ) and i will try to fix it up and fit it up to the car. and the best bit is, i even managed to salvage the bits of it that had been snapped off completely, so there is only one hole the size of a 50c piece that i will need to bridge over. :D

what an awesome afternoon

don't think it would be a body kit if he's going to the trouble of fixing up the lip
