Probably a fuse out somewhere.

Had another look through the thread, just want to ask a few suspension questions...

What brand was all the gear?

What height springs are they? Sits nice.

Lastly, did you use a camber kit and are you having any problems with wear on the front?

Im hoping to get away without a camber kit.

Cheers mate.

yeah dunno about the fuse thing. i honestly didnt look to far into it cause i had a solution anyway!

suspension was all whiteline gear: whiteline "control" (read: low) springs, kyb rear shocks, boge front shocks, 30mm front whiteline sway bar, 24mm rear swaybar.

so yeah, they are whiteline lows, but they are about the same as superlows through king springs

and i tried to get by without a camber kit and it cost me two sets of front tyres. first ones went from half used to illegal in 3000km  but those guys couldnt do a wheel alignment to save their lives. The next set had a better alignment and they were straightened up as much as possible. those tyres were gone after about 20 000km.

so yeah, its only $200 odd dollars for a kit, just do it. they are wearing perfectly now.

s**t yeah, tail lights are now done! :D They look awesome. Photos coming tonight

Next mod is to re-do the stereo. I had to pull the spare wheel out the other day and it was easier to just rip it apart  so that got me motivated again.

from there is a j3 chip.

and then... ;)

ohh yeah, i've started my new job in the real world now, earning some money. so i decided to go in and have a look at an FG GT yesterday arvo. Ended up taking it for a spin. Man that thing was fast and sounded great.

But i was running late to get somewhere straight after that, and i got back in my EF, brought the revs up to 3000, slipped the clutch off the start and drove like the clappers the whole way to where i needed to go. and you know what, i had a bigger grin on my face at the end of that than in the GT. Call me crazy...

drive an FG for a week then get back in the EF tell me how it is. its weird i prefer our friends FG XT over my XR and i prefer my bros EF over their XT yet i prefer the XR over the EF... weird

each car has its pros and cons and unless u throw both cars through all conditions its really not fair to make and harsh judgement.

i have a mate who swears commos are the best. hasnt owned a falcon hasnt driven a falcon hasnt passengered a falcon..

theres just some people with their head shoved 10 feet up their backside when it comes to judging cars.

cant wait to see the sound system revamp :D

finish it this time!
