actually on the topic of up and coming mods, does anyone have a double-din stereo surround they would like to trade for some cash? ;)

hokay, i have been busting a gut today to get through this new boot install.

So the plan for tomorrow is clean up the couple of loose ends, then paint the whole frame black. i will even try to find some carpet if i can and get into that

grand tour of all the open and closey bits will be once its done. just a closed up view for now :P

okay, almost done now. all the hinges are finished, all the wood work is done. I was painting all the bits that needed paint, and then proceeded to run out.

it'll wait till next weekend now to just be finished up. kinda makes me sad, i really want to listen to more than my back two speakers again!!

love the rear tail lights idea!

The boot install looks good too 8-) , are the sides just going to have the normal molded EF carpet?

Nicco, in regards to your Foglights, how did you get power to them? did you use a direct tap or similer into the parker light circuit????

Are the Fog Lights themselves aftermarket??? if so what brand where they and the part number that they where :P

so the oldies came down from cairns on saturday to see my brother and I, and then it p****d down rain on sunday. what i am trying to say is, i couldnt finish painting the boot install!!

on the other hand, i did finish my "other" project, of which photos will be coming tonight.

speedy, i have my lights running straight from the battery through a relay. the relay is controlled by a switch running off the accessories power. so essentially, if the acces arent on, then the lights wont be

the lights themselves are hella 530's

I see how it works, it's like our little Suzuki Rebadged Holden, where the Fog Light switch is seperate.

Do you think it would be possible to use the NF/NL Cornering lamp's and stick a Fog Globe within it and then run wiring through a relay, to a seperate switch? or even incorperate the Fog Lamp Circuit into the parkers?

i'm assuming you mean to do the mod like i did. in that case yeah, you could use the cornering lights, but i dont know why you would, they are worth a lot of money, cheap rectangular lights can be bought anywhere from about $30.

i was also going to use the high beams to be able to turn the lights on ( i have a three position switch in there, so one position is on with the acc, one is off, one is on when the high beams are on). the only reason i didnt end up doing this is i discovered they point a bit outwards, and it would require some careful trimming of the bumper to make them point straight, which i didnt feel like doing on the day.

but yeah, you could easily make them come on with the parkers.
