This is the Valiant slip yoke next to a Ford 4sp auto slip yoke.....you can almost put the Ford yoke inside the Valiant yoke.
The tailshaft is sitting in there for measurements/clearance dimensions for making the tailshaft loop. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Started on making the tailshaft loop......not finished yet......I used 6" pipe with a 5mm wall, some 65 x 6 angle, and 50 x 25 x 3 RHS, and some 75 x 6 flat bar....held in place by 4, grade 8, 1/2" bolts.

Easy removal, easy to make with what I have.....I can add extra strength if need be. I will be using a tunnel from an XF wagon I cut up about 10 years ago....some of the tunnel, anyway.

Looks good.......but I don't want plates and bolts sticking out of the floor if I can help it.
The loop is now welded up....just needs blasting and painting now.

I will sheet it with steel....0.8mm~1.0mm thick. There won't be any carpet in this car....... I will use alloy sheet for door trims and other places to cover holes. I've got some spotwelds to drill out......the rear seat lock points have got to go....

I will be removing unnecessary stuff....like the boot lid hinges and the torsion spring mounts for it ( drill the spot welds out for them). The seat is a SAAS Racing seat....brand new.....scored it for $100, 2nd hand, with mounts...... I'll add another crossmember at the back where the rear seat went.....they had one originally...it was part of the floor.
