hey guys im a newb
picked up my 94 fairlane ghia for $600 on friday
its got a 4.0 4spd auto duel fuel
done 350,000 so k's are a bit high but it runs tight
all it needs for rwc is front rotors and headlight.
since i got it ive detailed the hell out of it removed the sls, put in a new steering coloum and im currently waiting on new lhr power window motor.

plans are tint, lower, 18's, exhaust, maybe auII lane interior and v8 conversion after i get off my p's

My goals were modest too. Just needed a wagon to cart the dogs around LOL

In fact, having small achievable goals is the best way to get things done. Then, when you are happy with what you have accomplished, you can come up with bigger goals!!!!!

The Lane looks great mate, and there is plenty of scope to mod it to suit your needs and wants.

benj it was your red boxcar that made me fall in love with ea-ed's been using this forum for a few years my last car was an eb gli that i did a manual and v8 vonversion on for fun it never got to see the road tho :(

back window motor and reg in (getting the window in can be tricky..... until you realise after 5 hours to undo the rail :roll: )
found out my front passenger mirror and window is ok dead swithces least its not too bad.
missed out on an ltd grill on ebay :evil:
got major s**t today nearly did some "panel beating" after the lane wouldnt start looked at everything sat down had a beer an thought why dont i jump on fordmods an search around turns out it was the courtsey light fuse!!!!! i nearly brought a new battery :oops:
waitng on new power window swithces.
found a factory amp in the boot disconnected are these any good for speakers?


next week will be brake overhaul pads, rotors, and bearings still deciding if im going to get slotted rotor's

well i decided to go with standard rotors as they are half the price
finally found a headlight!!!!!!
and did my first mod to her today au clear side indicators lol is that even a mod :lol:

Yeah of course it is man little steps are still steps mate. I'm putting crossdrilled and slotted on the front of mine for the look :) leave the rear standard for stupidity :D
