left side is not a dummy,its not as efficient as the right side but is working,the left pipe splits after the diff and runs between the bumper and fuel tank.

hmmm, interesting. I had thought of doing this, but wasn't sure if the passenger side would flow as well as the drivers side, but as you said, it doen't...

Might give it ago later in the year... :)

as far as im concerned so long as the left side is there and works in some way its a good mod,i think a dummy tip is a bit...dodgy...so mine works,in the very near future im gonna change it again so theres 3" pipe running out the drivers side

I was going to attempt it but I was too lazy to even try and also found out that the pipe would be running a bit tad too close to the fuel tank. Also I couldn't do it to my car since it has a tow bar.

Would it be possible to get a spare fuel tank, shave a bit off of it to give more clearance for the exhaust running along the bumper? Makes it a bit safer then standard.

phong =P~

since the tanks are plastic i dont think you could really do anything with it,i have run some tin heat sheild along mu fuel tank just to be safe but i would happily not have heat sheild i reckon,theres a fair bit of room behind the bumper..you could get some acl heat sheild,its awesome,iv got some sheilding my brake booster and the dump pipe is about an inch away from it and after some hard driving (glowing turbo)
you can reach down and touch the brake booster and its not even hot. it works really really well

I saw this parked last time I was down at Maffra (as that's where the family lives). It's an awesome looking car. Did you have a red EA with heavily tinted taillights before this?

Thought so! I remember seeing a tidy white EA as well, parked out near the autoelectricians, and tyre service, which is clearly around where the photos were taken. Good job.

I like the rims. their different, not the run of the mill chromies or ba's you see on everything. They kind of look like souped up standard xr items (not the option rims). Nice car mate keep up the good work. Be sure to tell us all what she does down the 1/4.
