When i bought it had 265kms but has a reco head so it was done no longer then 12 months before i bought it drives like a brand new car and being duel fuel its so economical. I just got lucky with this one it does happen from time to time. Its defenetly a keeper for 5-10 years

Okay, 265kms is a fair bit for its age, but meh, if it goes good then who cares!!

Id rather a car with 300kms then 90 reason being is most of the hard work has been done new head new bushes shockers etc etc as this wagon had new gas shocks from monroe and bushes this runnign gear will be trouble free for years also an auto thats serviced regulaly is better then opne that has never been serviced yet has 70-80km

Km's is sometimes a meaningless judgement of cars, but the market only works on that method, which means their loss your gain, 265K of hwy driving is far better than 90k in the same time frame just done in a major city etc, the other problem is servicing, the average Joe does a service via Kms not time, 90K of stop start driving is harder on oils etc due to contamination, where as the same oil in a hwy car would still good at service kms, so preventative maintenance is actually done, unlike the 90k car which is building up with sludge and lubrication properties are failing causing undue wear etc.
Next difference is the expansion and contraction, more wear happens when the engine is cold, tolerances are bigger when cold, tolerances reduce as engine warms up, most wear actually happens when engine is cold, the reason why a lot of taxis engines last between 500k to 1 million kms without a rebuild, I worked on a 750k + Hire car V8 NF Fairlane (it got far more cold starts than a taxis) running on LPG which is still driving around as a work hack with original engine which has never had the heads off. LPG also causes less piston wear due to being a dry fuel.

Every time you start your car and just drive around the corner to the shops (to lazy to walk person) you get a small amount of fuel entering the oil, this is normal, it has and most probably always going happen in the future too, when the engine is hot the fuel burns off before it manages to contaminate the oil (edited LOL), so hwy driving burns off this contamination, often the reason someone thinks their engine burns oil on the hwy but not around town.

Got a little excited last few days with some new parts i had floating around, so put some new door trims on the wagon aznd chrome handles and also a momo streering wheel

Also have a set of jmm extractors that may go on and an ss induction also that i have.
