Cheers johnny, I previously rang up the seller and found out the sandwich plate isn't included. I'd use an E - Series bell housing however I'd like to do this conversion properly.

Yeah I agree, I've heard of people using the E-series bell with the barra and just leave the bottom bolts out-which is not a good idea IMO, Another thing you could try is putting a wanted to buy add in Gumtree - I've got a few things that way and you can set a limit on the price aswell, just a thought-ya never know.

You should be able to use the AU Auto sandwich plate.

If that is correct I should have one around here somewhere that you can have.

Not the greatest shot but you can see it installed just.

Keep up the good work.

Also for water temp sensor I just welded a bung in base of thermostat housing and screwed sender unit in. Dont have any photos though.

I was considering getting the thermostat housing drilled and tapped... Would eliminate the dodgy hosing that's for sure!

Its best to weld a plate on then drill and tap as housing is fairly thin. I was worried about to many rubber hoses as well.

Use the AU thermostat housing, they are undrilled. Or use the EB/ED ones, they have an extra port don't they?

Use the BA Washer bottle and locate it where the ABS would be on later models (same place as the BA)

I Was referring to the lower part of the thermostat housing. The side walls should be thick enough? I may have to measure that up.

Purely out of interest, i've drilled into the side of a spare ED Upper thermostat housing I have laying about.

If I can achieve the same thickness with the BA thermostat, I'd say that's thick enough to tap?
