Mate I would get a boner every time I jumped into that (plus the fact it isn't missing two cylinders like most of the members in here), I am no fan of fake wood but that combination of darker LTD walnut and black makes it look like some sort of big dollar BMW Luxury sedan. Well done.

+1 on that!
Except the missing 2 cyls part like most of us...eeeeh! They all got the same badge on the front! Lol. The woodgrain dose look pretty good with the black! Brings out the darker parts of the grain but makes it look less "plasticy" Now, sorry if I missed the post, but what did you use to paint the black? Vinyl spray paint? Haha speaking of lookin like a Beema, I have a photo of an ea with a 3 series (I think) front end!

Damn that's a shame! Did you complete the interior before selling?

With the painting of the dash and other trim, what particular brand/type of paint did you use and what was the gloss level of it? I've just bought a 96 EL Ghia and love black interiors over standard grey. The only problem though, is that from what I've seen of people spraying their dashes (from FordForums.com.au), they seem to have quite a lot of gloss on it and it looks very patchy. I'm sure its due to lack of surface prep like using wax and grease remover and vinyl primer, but was just wondering how you managed to get it looking so awesome. Anything else in the works for a project car now?

The car was sold to a friend who i needed the money to fund another car so he full the running gear out put it in a mustang and sold the interior. Then sold th ecar to his mate in tassie who put a stock 6 back in along with standard interior so still looks the same from the outside.
But on a good note just bought another el ghia but factory v8 so it will look pretty much identical less the interior. So i bought a renault megane rs 225 but that will be my weekender and the ford as my daily
