will you get sufficient air flow thru all tho?

I think so,just remember that it's only going to be doing 1/4 mile stuff this one's not going back on the street but to be honest I'm just as curious about air flow as you are
Cheers Johnny.

Hi Mad,yea realistically I can put it anywhere that works and gets flow but haven't really had a look at it that way so to speak. It is really big which is why I thought behind the IC should be okay but not 100% on the mounting of it.

I'll take some measurements and have alook though.

Hey guys, getting through the brackets slowly, have the trans cooler sorted,IC brackets done, top radiator brackets half done,so mainly the lower rad brackets, also I won't be using the 182 thats in the ute now-noo I'll be using the $99 182 that I bought years ago and a 4 speed BTR box (Which may have had a rebuild?) For $280,good thing is its out of a ute (non abs) so has the extension housing with the VSS cogs and sensor to suit BA.so bonus there.

Cheers Johnny.

So I have mounted it behind the IC and test fitted the radiator and it all has clearance-theres about 7mm from the heads of the screw cap bolt heads to the radiator and plenty between the trans cooler and IC.

Cheers Johnny.

Hey guys,so I wanted to get everything together to test fit the bumper which also gave me the opportunity to try the h/d bolt bumper conversion thing so I don't have to put up with the stupid triangle plastic design, which are easy to use/fit and they align everything up nicely and easily.
Did have to cut the bumper for the IC (which I went slightly overboard on) but everything fits and looks like air flow should be optimal

Hey Mad, yea same stupid plastic clips-these are so much better 8 bolts for the front bumper and everything lines up nice and won't pop off going over a speed hump :x cheers Johnny.

Hey guys, so which looks better, with or without the grill badge?,better airflow without -also have some twinlight covers that I'll try and fashion into a intake maybe
It's weird looking at the front of the XG as is with the lower part of the bumper it makes it look like the happiest XG in the country :)

Cheers Johnny.
