So I think this may be the way to go,it's a power steering and AC delete. Comes with brackets to mount the alternator higher and a shorter belt, seeing as its only going mostly in a straight line I can live without power steering.

Can be got from Castlemain Rod Shop.

Check this out, whilst working out oil pressure/switches and if I should run oil feed from pressure switch location for the turbo I noticed an anomaly with the fitting that I was going use from the block and found the little remnant from the manufacturing process that should not be there.
The little gold dot on the box was lodged in the fitting.
Could you imagine starting a fresh or new engine and quickly seeing no oil pressure-to ecu and gauge and then possibly pulling the engine apart to see why for absolutely no reason.

So not sure what to do about the ac delete yet, can't affords to do squat atm,but got the new front crankshaft oil seal in and the underdrive/balancer on and am working out making a slip pin for the up/J pipe to help distribute the weight of the Up/J pipe and turbo and if I can use the na OEM exhaust manifold heat shield which after clocking the turbo a bit and a bit of a flattening out in the right spot it looks like it may indeed be possible to use :D

Soooooo trying to get sheat done and I thought to weld the smallish crack in the strut tower I should remove the tension by removing the spring and upper control arm (drivers side) & upon doing so I quickly realized that the D/S suspension & control arms etc....hadn't been pre-loaded properly which is literally my own stupid fault, when I did the front end years ago it was on an incline (uneven surface) the passenger side I got right but the drivers side only the front of the upper control arm pre loaded and the back didn't which I believe caused the crack.

So I can't justify spending $300 for basically a pulley/bracket & shorter belt, but have come up with my own design to do the same (delete AC & PS) but in all honesty I think I'd prefer keeping the power steering for now.
But with a bit of playing around after dressing the engine with the alternator and power steering etc..I swapped the pulley from the idler to the tensioner and made a electric tape serpentine belt to show the path, tensioner will still work.
Will remake the belt out of masking tape to get a accurate belt size and measure the distance that the tensioner works at and hopefully find a belt in between those two measurements.

So as I mentioned last post,I made a masking tape/measuring tape and measured the length of the new belt path,at full length it's 156.5cm with tensioner fully in it's 153.7cm.
So did a quick search and found the 6PK1555 is perfect for this and a common belt too,the 1555 in the P/N refers to the length of the belt being 155.5cm.
Anyway AC deleted and I can get the bracket off the engine so there's more room for better things.

Think this should help alot of people wanting to do the same without sacrificing PS or have to spend hundreds of dollars on brackets etc..

So upon further examination & inspection of the tensioner,it needed some modification(was rubbing slightly on part of the tensioner which has now been modded)and I'm a little bit worried that the belt is going to de-tension under heavy throttle or WOT and that's not good, but I did anticipate this and will probably make a lock mechanism to keep it in tension under load.
Will let you know if this is a viable alternative as I'm not 100% sure myself.

CRS kit has the tensioner at a similar position though,so need to test this to see how it reacts, still using the under drive balancer and without the AC it may be okay, will have to wait and see.
Also have the Lovell SL springs in and finished the front spoiler/bumper sheet metal and am working on the lip atm.

Have been doing stuff that's not costing anything really, as in all the shrouding around the IC,TC and radiator to funnel it into from the front and through not only that but sucking air through IC from the BF single fan should help alot.

Hey guys, has been very slow progress atm but progress nonetheless, have finally got the radiator & fan brackets sorted but I had to get them welded because I couldn't get the metal hot enough for the brazing rods to work properly,am looking into getting a better torch that uses a different gas and can heat up 3 times hotter than a butane torch + better filler rods later on. But after drilling the holes and test fitting the brackets seem to work really well.
So the bottom brackets are bolted down using 6 countersunk M8 bolts with rivnuts and the tops use 1 M10 for each bracket but for these I tapped the M10 holes for strength, the spacers on the tops now are to bring the bolt head out more for ease of access.

P.s like the IC/TC and piping coming out with 3 bolts the radiator and fans can be removed from just removing the top 2 bracket bolts.

Hey guys,so the next things done were finalizing the radiator mounts and getting the BF single fan and shroud to really seal tight so with engine bay panels there should be enough suction to pull air through the IC and trans cooler with fan on full speed.
Engine is basically ready, cold side is fully sealed with throttle body and inlet manifold done and will be taking the exhaust manifold to my local exhaust shop to make sure they're flanges are flat and true and to get new gaskets and some 3" pipes and bends to make a down pipe and side exit.
Also had to modify/make my own thermostat housing/heater pipe to clear the new set up and TB.

Cooling system and mounting brackets etc..

Here's a better look at the thermostat heater pipe AN adapter.
