Is it true the BA LPG rods are the same as the F6 (ie. better than XR6T) rods and are only like $80 each?

I have not seen or used either of those, it is certainly something that has been talked about. Kilma wrote: Are you going to be doing more to it again, or just chasing some more strength? Not chasing more power, just more strength. The turbo is getting close to the limit of it's power output anyway and i dont want a bigger one and the associated lag. I could get 500rwkw or more with a larger turbo but aren't interested in outright power, instead focusing on drivability. fritzz wrote: sound good.

Cam is not so much bigger as it is better. Just more teime spent creating the cam profile. Cam's are no where near as important in Turbo cars as they are in NA cars. Rims are just AMG Quake 19's

I suppose that is the most important thing considering it is a company car. pyroay wrote: fritzz wrote: what rims have u got now? Rims are just AMG Quake 19's What made you go for the Quakes? I liked the EL GTs better than Quakes, but that is just my opinion. It doesn't really matter in the end. Im sure your car would look mean as no matter what rims it had on it.

Just wanted something bigger.
I actually wanted ROH matrix or Mantis but at $799 - $899 per wheel + tyres it was going to be an expensive excercise.

Ok car is back with new engine and all is going well.
not only more power and torque at te top end but also throughout the midrange, which is where it is most valuable. Currently on a quite conservative street tune we will be getting her back ont he duno for a more aggressive tune and to chase some higher numbers. Hoping for somewhere over 450rwkw but rest assured I'll keep you all posted.

Good. Make sure we are up to date with what is happening on this one. Thats a damn nice figure. If you don't get 450rwkw, are you going any further to try & get that far?

We will see, i am reasonably confident of achieving that figure, but i guess if i dont get it i will have to consider more work.
I am definatley not changin turbos so it will be a case of trying to make the motor more efficient.

And it begins again.
Good luck with it. Have you ever taken the car down the 1/4? What did it achieve (sorry, I haven't read all 14 pages)? Have some pics with the new rims on there?

I saw the car at the Epping DB drag thing and let me say it is easily the best falcon I have ever seen in the flesh bar none. It is awesome and pictures really dont do it justice.

This is that happens when you don't check the events in your local state.
I can only assume he drove it there seeing as he drives it everywhere else. Meet PYORAY

I drove it there and was towing my 1.5ton trailer.
Glad to catch up with a few there.
