Rev limiter is set at 6.

I dont rev past 4,500 very often at all.

You get better response and nicer feel changin gear and droping back to 3200rpm....... right in the healthy boost range.

Before you n the ol gurl part ways will we see any higher dyno figures with the new turbo setup ? she still in the shop ?

No.

I am n ot going the larger turbo way now i am selling it.
I will stick with limiting it to 450rwkw max closer to 410rwkw on a daily basis until it sells.

if someone wants to make a dyno car out of it they can spend the eztra to do those things.

If someone wants a daily drive then nothing is required.

What did you change to run the 451rwkw? Was it on race fuel? Dropped exhuast? Anything else done to make that much power?

That must be right on the limit of the 3540. Ive been told by a few people that my externally gated 3540 wont make 400 on my BA motor.

Was your turbo modded in any way?

Run on 106 octane fuel, which only made about 15rwkw - 20rwkw difference
Exhaust was on, although it is pretty free flowing.......

I found when we changed the intercooler piping to 3" and straightenened out some tight corners + rebuilt the engine we got much better feeling power, especially through the midrange.

Yes it is right on the edge of what it can make.

My turbo is rated for 700hp and 451rwkw is about 613rwhp which is about 680fwhp............With wxhaust off we found boost very hard to control.

He achieved 600.8rwhp.
I have achieved 613rwhp on 2 seperate occasions on 2 x seperate dynos.

I have been told there is 2 cars doing higher than that again anyway although seen no proof of that.

On pump fuel rather than 106 octane and on a dyno dynamics dyno.

But yours is prettier.
