No, mine is not an XR, I have however fitted the bonnet vents and yes it is quite impresive how much air actually comes out of those things. :)

The car doesn't get hot exactly, but on a hot day (30) the stock temp gauge does creep up to the bottom of the 'r' while sitting at lights.

I will have to get a picy up.

thats what i reckon - that is why i was curious whether u had gone the aluminium radiator.

i think however that there might be something more fundamental. Ah the engine really should be rebuilt - I think I will just have to get into the new rebuild :)

Anyway great to see another fantastic modded ford (not that mine is quite up to your standards :) )

have u got it back yet?

I'm running the standard radiator.

UPDATE
Cooler piping is done and Plenimum is almost done.
Plenimum is approx 5.8litres (almost 1.5 x engine capacity) which is the size we were working on for increased power but without affecting response too severly.

3" piping & 3" fittings on intercooler should not restrict airflow like i believe it was, so hoping to make the same 309rwkw on 13psi instead of 16psi.

At this stage looking to run max boost of 20psi and hoping for 400rwkw, although i think we are going to fall a little short.

Not quite. The Plennimum is that size the engine capacity is still around 4 litres, (a little larger since it has been bored out)

Having troubble uploading pics at the moment.
Picking car up tomorow morning, it's all running nicely just a quick yidy upon the dyno first thing in the morning.

Low boost has been upped from 7psi to 10psi and high will probably be 20psi up from 16psi.

I have to rack up 1000km to bed the engine in before i can dyno it up for max power.... Still hoping for high 300's.

Anyone want to take the car and rack up the 1000km in the next couple of days so i can get it done in time for Autosalon....

Ahh that defeats the purpose of running in a new engine :) Unless you were being sarcastic :?
