Actually under the eyes of the law my EF XR6 (basically stock  ) would be classified exactly the same as pyro's in terms of the 'power to weight' rule. As the only evidence a court will accept is the origanal factory specifications listed when Ford first gave the details for the vicroads databse etc. A court will not uphold dyno readings or wiegh bridge certifcates as evidence in order to prove/disapprove a cars power to weight ratio, thus pyro's car under the law will always be classified as 164kw/1550 odd kilograms. I know this as several people have been charged for driving high powered vehicles (grey imports 180sx etc), but the only evidence that stands up in courts is what it says on the peice of paper the relevant traffic authority has.

Phewww now thats off my chest can i take it for a spin now?

Ok here is the good news and some bad. Bad news we ran out of fuel big time. I am now chasing a Bosch 520hp fuel pump and larger injectors to suit the new set-0up.

Good news we made
306rwkw on 10psi instead of
309rwkw on 16.8psi

Aiming for over 400rwkw on 20psi or a little more...

Thats huge power!! Are you still using the GT30?

What has been done to the head and cam to be able to flow that much?

I thought I was doing well with 260rwkw on 10psi!!

I bet your thrilled!!

I'll keep you posted.

Should be good for the 20psi, since i was running 17psi on stock bottom end and now have forged pistons rods, blueprinted and bored motor balanced and machined crank etc...

Yes pretty happy so far. Using the GT35/40 (which i have alwas had)
i may have incorrectly described it as a GT 30

I thought our fuel supply would run out at about 380rwkw so i was playing figures a little cautious but it fell short of that even.

PLAN from here in
Probably go with a second Bosch 520hp fuel pump and run both
Run larger injectors not sure yet what size. Currently they are 320's

I would love to hit 450rwkw on 22psi but that is still a fair way off so we will see......

Yes it is a lot better to drive, it spools up very quickly, bit of a traction problem with the ld 255/40's struggling to grip in any gear.
