No disrespect to this car, but at 04 Melb autosalon DAMN supra did 574wkw, and theres a GTR R33 with 500wkw, both cars in the latest Speed mag... 400 odd from a sohc with smaller turbo is still friggin awesome

I bet those cars pull alot more revs, and we all know revs are half the equation to making power.
I bet pyros car has higher peak torque.

Well i spoke in depth to the turbo guy a couple of hours ago

Car gets to 360rwkw on ramp mode then suffers the following problems
- Breaks traction on the dyno
- Tyres dont grip very well (combination of the worn dyno rollers and low profile tyers) would benefit from stock 15's with higer profile tyres.
- Clutch slips because it cant handle the torque. I believe it'saround 1200nm

Car produces 407rwkw on run up's in fuel mapping mode and then suffers the following
- Exhaust backpressure is getting high
- Clutch slipping
- Approx 670hp at the motor and the turbo is rated to 700hp so getting close to the mark

We believe we could get 500rwkw with 2 x 2.5" exhausts and a better clutch (power would also come on earlier because of reduced exhaust pressure)

PROBLEMS = MONEY
Exhaust = $1,500
Clutch = $3,000 - $4,000?

Current Balance = NONE

So the result will be 360rwkw as a daily driver as much as i'd like to nget a better clutch this one just cost me $1,300.

SPONSORSHIP anyone??

can't complain about that though..
60rwkw above what it was, but a MUCH better car to drive.
