Arnt those maf sample tubes abit unreliable ie flat spots, pre ignition . I see theres a post in the v8 section having this problem. I dont want to throw figures around about kw's and what kw's are made at what boost, im simply going to get the car going with 8psi and see how it performs. I run 320 rwkw easy with std ECU PROM blow through maf 36 injectors, Walbro 255 intank, with timeing set initial at 8* with 68cc alloy heads, colder PBR7 NGK plugs with MSD ignition.. On std block.. If http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/index ... 19522.0you read the link above ?? Most those cars have std EEC...

320rwkw on std ecu F**k your crazy lol, thanks for the links i did go over them.
Would you happen to know were the oil sender is mate, ive worked it out and i need two passanger side headers to do how i want ive been quoted $70 for a header from ford wreckers out at narellan does this sound about right for this. Im going to have the driverside header go to the front of the motor and join up around the pass side instead of out back under the tranny. Thanks for the info ebxr Brad |

Picked up a new bypass valve for $47 at autobahn today.
I was told steam pipe would be to heavy for crossover pipe and to flange, does anyone use this stuff or is mild steel good enough ?. |

My cold side is 2" mild steel / ceramic coated..
Exhaust would be the same... Like this one.. Turbo reversed.. I would have wastegate off both pipes though.. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hey,
i noticed that the headers are flipped over?? It's your car, so you can do what you like, but if it's not to late i would be mounting the turbo on the drivers side as suggested. Dont under-estimate how much heat is generated, and how easily wiring melts, when to close to exhaust dump pipes and the like. Good to see things are taking shape. Got onto RB Racing website and they manufacture/supply oil scavenge pump for remote/low mount turbos, that my friend is the go if you have the cash. Would love to see it when it's at Joes getting a tune-up. Cheers Daz

Yeah mate im scared about melting everything thats even remotely close to the turbo and dump pipe.
My only issue with putting it on drivers side is where do i put the over flow tank, and i dont want to move battery to the boot. I was thinking put battery on passangers side where airbox used to go, but what about the overflow tank........ |

You could mount a custom tank in front of the motor, behind the radiator, saw that done somewhere, but dont remember where......sry.....
You could also mount radiator overflow/fill tank on Passenger side, a complete reverse to what it is factory. Radiator doesnt move, no fans attached to motor to worry about, so jusy fab up an ally pipe to go between tank and rad'. I am thinking about re-doing my set-up, just for the aesthetics of it all.....? Cheers Daz
