My clutch master cap melted slightly, and i didnt think it was that close, it now has a heat shield, but still gets f**k warm, but clutch works ok. I have a new set-up to instal, hopefully during xmas break, that, and new turbo dump pipe that should help spool a bit quicker. A couple pics in my gallery.

Cheers

Daz

Hey dude that looks sweet in the flesh cant wait till you get her running.
I think your idea of putting the turbo on the drivers side would def work better, but like we discussed watch out you dont burn your alternator.
Your piping looks neat as

New development with the xr8.

I found a bargain on ebay being a 93 eb fairmont v8 auto, perfect base for my turbo build which is now back on track.

Spoke with the exhaust bloke chris out at hume mufflers and he is going to be doing my turbo exhaust system. He plans on flipping the passenger side header and fabricating the rest of the system hes going to put the turbo over on the passenger side, unfortunatly the aircon has to be removed :(

Ive been contemplating moving the battery to the boot which will be happening next week and have ordered race under drive pulleys and phenolic spacer through crescent motorsports, also going into the car is my 3.91.1 lsd.

So its coming together very very slowly but its getting there, hope to have it done by the time my son is born.

Got the car on the dyno at crescent motorsport, car is completely stock with a leaking exhaust.
Running e85 and 34* timing.

I hand timed 0-100 in 8 seconds flat so she goes nice.

The e85 was at a local servo, to be honest the car seems to run better on std petrol its hard to explain but as soon as i put normal caltex 91 in it ran better straight away.

I have just got the car back from the exhaust shop m8, still need to fit oil lines etc.
