You wont have any piston to valve clearance issues due to the design of "twisted" chamber. That allows them to run the 2.02" intake valve without the need for piston notching.

Id recommend the Fel-Pro 8548PT-2 head gaskets too, with the obvious use of ARP head studs.

Looking good!
Any plans to replace the standard extractors or modify them so they are less restrictive? Your busted cat might have been the reason you were struggling to make boost at higher rpm? (i think you mentioned it somewhere?)

Head gaskets are what trickflow recommends.
As for the factory header i dont think id benefit from changing it might even increase lag.. From all the posts i could find on the corral the 60-1 is capable of 550rwhp(even tho gcg rate it at 400fwhp with the t3 housing and stage 5 turbine wheel, the cat would have def been the cause of the boost loss. Ill try to take some photos of the turbo header tomorrow. |

I wouldnt run the 1011-2's as recommended by Trickflow. Great on a N/A car, but on a boosted or nitrous engine the individual fire rings arent the best for the job. The 8548's use a commong fire ring between all 4 cylinders. Have a read on Corral, the majority of the boosted guys are running them.
For the price of them, its well worth getting a set, even if you have bought the 1011-2's already.

Thats funny because trickflow recommend four different gaskets lol, both of those you listed are the first two on the sheet.
