Hi Guys, I've owned this old EB V8 ghia for about 8 years, and I'm thinking of selling it :( . I've been trying for a long time to find out how rare it is. I'm the second owner.

Is it strange to have the ghia badge above the V8 badge? Most ghia's have them side by side.

EB Fairmont Ghia V8
Factory 5 speed

Mods:
GT air intake snorkel
K&N Filter
Chrome headers
Big Bore
Advanti Wheels
Tints
Suspension

I still have all the original parts.

I tried to keep it as unmolested looking as possible, as adding plastic just makes cars age quicker.

Your thoughts?

Checked the numbers a few years ago, and everything matches up.

The Ghia in the yard I was looking at today had the Ghia badge above the 4.0 badge, so it looks right.

Call 13 3673 and ask how many manual ones were made they'll tell you.

I see you are in NZ. New Zealand had quite a few Fords & Holdens that were not available in Aus. My Dad had a 4 cylinder 1900cc Commodore when they first came out. So it wouldn't surprise me that bartzghia's car is a rare one over here.

Cheers
