I'll be set to go in about a week for the seat mount mods. I have my wifes EB to finish up in the next few days and Sunday/Monday the ED will roll into the back yard to be stripped. I'll ask my wife and kids to give me a hand again with stripping out the interior of the ED, they did a great job in the EL! So basically, any time after that, whenever you are ready. BTW, I am a stay at home Dad and now is school hols so I am pretty much home all the time (aside from taking the kids to stuff).

Ok, couple of questions for those in the know before I start my epic ED/EL transformation journey later this week.
First up, Climate Control sensors. I understand I need 2 - an ambient air sensor and a sun load sensor. As I go about trying to source these - what do they look like! I have no idea what I should be looking for!! Help! Next, K frame removal. I am guessing the main bolts/nuts are the 4 (or is it 6?) under the car. I know I need to disconnect/remove the sway bar, steering column and the upper end of the struts. It is just those pesky main bolts/nuts I am not sure of. Just checking as I see the nuts are spot welded on the top (engine bay) end and am hoping I do not need to break these spot welds. Oh and of course the engine will be removed beforehand. Can someone confirm that I am indeed looking at the right things. Thats it for now, the journey is close to beginning now and I am getting excited! Cheers RD

I'll be starting the extraction of the EL engine today - is there any differences I should look out for compared to EB-ED engines?
