Dark windows will arrive a little before summer, might have saved up the dollars by then :)

Coming along well! Can i suggest debadging the 4.0 badge and replacing the orange repeater indicators with some clear ones? Updates the look a LOT..

Thanks matey, taken a while and a bit more to do yet. I like the idea of debadging the 4.0, it has been bugging me. As for clear repeaters, yup that is on the cards. Trick is finding them for a reasonable price :)

Cheers
RD

Hey RD.

Was great to see this in the metal yesterday. The stance looks fabulous, and the wheels really change the demeanour of the car. I am very happy for RD to be able to have the wheels. They have served me well, and will continue to do so for RD.

As for the Clear side repeaters, you need to get some Clear AU ones. They are quite cheap on EBay, or check the wreckers.

I too want some tint for the windows, and also will see what deals are available with the coming summer.

Cheers
BenJ

Aha, didn't know it was AU, a little easier to find them than EF/EL :) Will keep an eye out at PnP and ebay ....

I was using AU clear repeaters on my Red Sedan, but I scored some NF Ghia Clear repeaters and have installed these on the wagon. The profiles, length and shape is quite different between them.

AU's will be fine on mine, anything is better than the ED orange ones :) Less waiting time too, unlike chrome inner door handles for a reasonable price - HA!

It is cheaper at the moment to get windows tinted as noone thinks about getting it done when its cold so the tint places are fairly quiet.
PM me if either of you want for the details on who did my ute. Did a top job for a very reasonable price.

Another trans question....

I stupidly decided to put an EL trans in this car, now I need to top up the fluid. Because it doesn't have a dipstick what is the best/easiest way to get bloody fluid into this thing? Oh, and I am NOT paying someone to do it either.....if I had to I would pull the EL one out and stick in one with a dipstick, which is what I should have done in the first place.....

There should be a plug in the side of the box to fill it from.
