Looking good.
Nice to see some actually interesting work getting done around here , not just doing LED conversions and putting sticker son.

Thanks EVL,
I should have a look around at the LED conversions. I actually asked a question about LED tail light bulbs in the electrical forum and got pretty much no response!? Well only 1 reply.
Maybe I should do a thread on my Pursuit too?

Picked up a bunch of Aeroflow fittings this morning including braided teflon hose.
It added up to lotsa money but after pricing up made to order stuff from Enzed and the like it's actually on par with price but better materials and I can do it myself.
With this I'm going to do trans cooler lines in -6, engine cooler lines -8, power steering cooler lines -6 and fuel lines -6. I asked about the the fuel rails they do for windsor but, as usual, because it's for a Ford they don't have any!? They didn't even have the fuel rail adapters!?

Also scored a good set of EL fans from Lesmurdie Wreckers for only $28! I told the guy I can get em for $30 on ebay so he agreed but then I only had a 20 and change in my pocket. Have to go back to get try to get an EL relay harness because they didn't have any.
According to Fedex the trans should be here on the 4th June.

Cooler is about 200 x 360 x 30 plus the fan and the mounts. It's a Derale part.

Drilled out the spot welds to make it a bolt on radiator support panel....

Image

This'll get a straighten out while it's off too.

Image

This allowed me easy access to finish the welding of the engine mounts with TIG rather than switching to MIG and paint em up.

Image

Makes the rest of it look yuck now....

Image

Here's the axle breather that I moved. The axle tube is at least 5mm thick!?

Image

Put this bolt in and cut it off flush.

Image

Welded it up.

Image

This was rather easy to achieve with no radiator support. Engine and trans out in one piece!

Image

Did some match porting of the adapter plate to the lower on Sunday.

Image

Image

The adapter plate also had one of the through holes(the one in the far left bottom of this pic) out of wack a bit so I elongated it a smidge.

Image

I finish welded the headers and made sure the flanges were flat...they were pretty good already.
I was going to mod the sump to make it bigger but I think I'll just run an external oil cooler for extra oil capacity and maybe revisit it later.
I hope to fit the engine and trans next weekend.
