More stuff done...
Crossover tube mount.

Image

EL bottom hose nearly fits!?

Image

Notched the crossmember.

Image

Got it Galvanized along with shock mounts.

Image

Did fuel ines with stuff from Speedflow and Russell.

Image

5.0 heater pipes are perfect for this conversion because they're almost the same as stock rangie setup. Just needs a slight dent near Injector 1 to clear the body.

Nice work as usual Pete.
Can you please do at least one thing dodgy so we can not feel so bad with our efforts?

Nope its certainly not for 2 main reasons.
1. There is not a single JD can in any of the pictures.
2. Stuff is actually getting done.

No backyard OH&S meeting is complete without a few cans. OH&S meetings should always take place in the AM.

Thanks to Tony this little tool...

Image

Was helpful in doing this...

Image

The finished item with added 5/8" tube for the header tank connection...

Image

The heater tubes lined up with the factory hoses pretty bloody good!...

Image

This allowed me to fit an E-series heater tap...

Image

Put the rails and injectors on and laid the harness on there. Because I'm using the truck lower it has the ACT(Air Charge Temp) sensor in runner number 6 instead of the usual number 5. So the harness needs opening up to drag the ACT wiring back a bit...

Image

Like so...

Image

Plugged in...

Image

Hopefully next weekend I'll fire the engine up.
