I wish I had access to the tools you have. Instead I feel like Macgiver is building Chuck Norris a birthday present.

More pics.
Harness done, added trans temp gauge and oil pressure gauge and Trans/Optishift wiring to it....

Image

Vacuum Tee I had to shorten to clear the rocker cover...

Image

Image

BOB helps to check out the harness and Optishift. Btw who can spot the unusual thing about this EEC?

Image

And after I started it I got this fitting from Enzed to adapt the power steer hose to -6AN fittings...

Image

Image

This is for fitting the trans temp sender in line, -6 with 1/8" NPT...

Image

Wasn't deep enough so I needed this adapter which had too small a hole in it so I had to drill it out!?.

Image

Image

Stripped the Alternator wiring outta the DF and used the fuse block too.

Image

Made some little stainless brackets and mounted here behind the header tank. Btw the alternator works perfectly, no need to change the wattage of the stock bulb in the dash..

Image

Tracked the oil light, temp gauge and tacho wiring back to the cluster and put a 3 pin econseal on it...

Image

It moves!..

Funny, hadn't looked at your thread in some time and read the below as I scrolled through.

I'm just getting into reading about J3 chips and tuning - is it the J3 chip fitted to an EEC IV ECU ???

Well he said 12 mths ago he'll likely use an EB/D EEC IV or Mustang 5.0 EEC IV - the breakout box seems to indicate same.
